Our Trade-In Promise<br><br>We believe trading in your device should be straightforward and transparent.<br><br>When you submit your device information through our website, we provide an estimated trade-in value based on the information you provide. After we receive your device, our technicians perform a physical inspection to verify its condition.<br><br>If the condition of the device matches the information submitted, you will receive the estimated trade-in value.<br><br>If we discover differences that materially affect the value of the device, we will provide a revised offer along with an explanation before any payment or store credit is issued.<br><br>We never intentionally reduce the value of a trade-in without a valid reason supported by the inspection.<br><br>⸻<br><br>2. Activation Lock & Security<br><br>Before sending your device, you are responsible for:<br><br>* Removing your Apple ID or Google Account.<br>* Disabling Find My iPhone or similar activation locks.<br>* Signing out of all personal accounts.<br>* Removing any screen passcodes or security locks.<br><br>Devices that remain activation locked may not qualify for payment until the lock has been removed.<br><br>⸻<br><br>5. Back Up Your Data<br><br>Before shipping your device, you should:<br><br>* Back up all personal information.<br>* Remove personal files.<br>* Erase all personal data if possible.<br>* Remove SIM cards.<br>* Remove memory cards, where applicable.<br><br>Apple Second Cycle™ is not responsible for personal data remaining on devices submitted for trade.<br><br>⸻<br><br>6. Device Inspection<br><br>Every device undergoes a professional inspection after arrival.<br><br>Our inspection may include:<br><br>* Cosmetic condition<br>* Screen condition<br>* Battery health<br>* Cameras<br>* Face ID / Touch ID<br>* Charging functionality<br>* Speakers and microphones<br>* Buttons<br>* Wireless connectivity<br>* Water or liquid damage indicators<br>* Previous repairs<br>* Internal diagnostics (when applicable)<br><br>The inspection determines the final trade-in value.<br><br>⸻<br><br>7.
